This Bill Monroe classic makes a great Dobro instrumental. Once again we find ourselves in the key of Dm. This lesson goes perfectly with the new positions for minor and blues sounds we learned in “Shady Grove”.
This sounds great and isn’t very hard to play once you memorize it. Should be a welcome addition to your band or jam circle. There are however a bunch of chords so I included a chord chart in letters and numbers (Nashville chart). If you think about it like the song is in F but starts on the 6 minor the chords make a lot more sense than thinking it’s in Dm.
