This is a killer lesson on how to not only finally learn rolls but also learn how to “Fake” a solo for up tempo Bluegrass songs in G.Once you get this down you can progress into more elaborate solos using this as a platform to add to. You can apply this trick to any Banjo type song in G that comes up. I used Rocky Top and Foggy Mt Breakdown but any song will do. Try Roll in my Sweet Baby’s Arms, Shuckin the Corn, John Hardy, Pig in a Pen, Gonna Paint the Town, Dear Old Dixie etc. I wish I had this when I was learning! You don’t have to suffer as I did for my art, take the easy way out and shortcut your learning path with this lesson. PDF Tabs, 4 backup tracks, and 30 minutes of video instruction from Jimmy (me).
