Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Want to play something on the Dobro your Mother-in-law will recognize? Well, here you go! Very pretty song from the Beatles, one of many. Played in the key of A with a solo in the middle. This lesson is FULL of thumb syncopation’s that make the feel of the melody more interesting as an instrumental. This was first done by Josh Graves and PERFECTED by Mike Auldridge. This “Trick” has been used constantly by very major player since Mike. The lack of this knowledge is VERY widespread and makes your playing sound “flat and uninteresting”. I highly recommend this lesson to all! 35 minutes of stunning HD video (I wear make up, don’t worry) the backup track I played over, chord charts in letter names (A, F#m etc) and in Nashville numbers, an MP3 of the performance (just like a record) for your car or phone and maybe for your hat by next year (the iHat) and PDF tab.
